Standards and Achievement 2016

The 2016 Year 6 assessments are the first which assess the new more challenging National Curriculum which was introduced in 2014.   New tests and interim frameworks have been introduced and the way in which the data is recorded at the end of Year 6 has also changed.  Results are no longer reported as levels. Due of these changes both the style of the reporting and the information contained cannot be compared to previous Year 6 results.

The way in which assessments are recorded at the end of Year 2 has also changed. Both the style of the reporting and the information contained cannot be compared to previous Year 2 results or linked to previous achievement e.g. the end of Reception year scores for these children.
