We are keeping our fingers crossed that the weather is now going to be continually kind to us!
Thank you to all the parents that attended parent’s consultations on Tuesday and Thursday and to those of you that added post-it notes to our board. We have enjoyed sharing the comments and appreciate the positivity and areas of development. The feedback has been pleasing and we have taken on board the issues around the electronic booking system.
On Wednesday, Mrs Thomson ran another session about Growth Mind Set. Thank you to those parents that attended.
The Early Years classes had two Police Officers visit them this week as part of their topic 'People that help us'. It was lovely to see their confidence in asking questions and enjoying trying on the uniform!
We celebrated World Book Day yesterday and were treated to many imaginative costume creations! Well done parents! Every class gave out awards and we had a fun packed day with book quizzes, competitions and a special assembly. We will put some photographs on the school website soon.
Next week is the first instalment of Princes Risborough Primary School featuring on Small Talk on the local radio station, Mix 96. Please all tune in to listen to the amazing and funny answers that the children gave!
Your children should have brought home some information and a £1 voucher which can be used at next week’s book fair in school (6th – 10th March). Please come along and take a look!
Today 30 of our Year 5 and 6 children went to High Wycombe to rehearse for the Echoes concert. We have heard them practicing in the school and they sound utterly beautiful! We are sure that they have had an amazing time ahead of their performance at The Royal Albert Hall, they are going to do us proud!
Next Friday (10th March 2017) we have Luke Delahunty, the Invictus Games athlete, visiting school. Thank you to all of you that have sponsored children to date. Our online total as of today is a fantastic £355! Please keep donating over the next week! Well done to Alice and Edward who have raised over £110 together so far! Keep your eye on the website for photos of the day!
Please note that new parking restrictions will soon be in place. You will see a new sign near our yellow zig zags, warning drivers that a yellow line will be painted on the opposite side of the road. We have been told that this will mean there will be no parking allowed on the yellow lines at certain times of the day. Please read the sign and be aware of this.
Thank you to the parents who come into school each week to help us is so many ways including in classes and with our garden. We are currently requiring some more volunteers to read with our Early Years children. Please contact Miss Bacon or the office if you are able to help.
We hope you have a lovely Weekend.
